Of Trygve’s Trial (Part 2)

There’s something interesting about the Fire Ensemble, the way the flames complete each other. There’s a certain balance there that is needed to keep things running, and it’s not like one of them should be expelled, even though they all make mistakes. They all have their moments of embarrassing absence, and they all carry mindtraps with them. And the one who’s there dealing with their failures is Trygve.

Maybe if Hephaestus wasn’t making me so dreamy about projects unattainable, or if Zhu Rong and Vesta were more present to help me overcome obstacles in order to reach those dreams, and if Áine could give me a little more of a healthy motivation, instead of making Trygve resort to the insanely dangerous Dead Grinding, maybe yes, he wouldn’t be needed here. His working style isn’t exactly orthodox and safe and comfortable, but this seems to be the one that’s working the best.

He’s being blamed for mindtraps when all are responsible for some too. Injustice won’t be commited tonight, so the council declares Trygve to stay. Deep inside, secretly, all feel glad. Even Trygve is smiling tonight.
